Description
Crafting workbench on a base. Crafting, repairing, and disassembling items on a single workbench. Everything placed on it is visible on the model: a blueprint unfolds on the table, books are stacked, the laptop screen lights up when powered, a welding machine stands nearby, and wires run from the equipment to the sockets. The interface is in the dark glass style of the Skufy series, in Russian and English. All checks are on the server.
How it works
- Place the workbench. The set is placed like a regular building set, with a hologram. You can disassemble the workbench with a hammer, screwdriver, pliers, or a wrench—the set and all the items on the workbench will remain nearby.
- Place the blueprint and books. The blueprint opens a recipe category, and the book opens its part of the recipes. The workbench can hold 8 of 14 books.
- Connect the equipment. Vise, welding machine, soldering station, and laptop. The equipment is powered by a battery through a power strip.
- Start the job. 'F' on the workbench is the workbench window: recipes, materials, conditions, and the work queue.
Three modes
- Crafting — 68 recipes in 8 categories: weapons, ammunition, clothing, armor, cases and boxes, attachments, medicine, and tools.
- Repair — weapons, optics, armor, clothing, boxes, and tools. Spare parts and time are added for each level of damage.
- Disassembly — unneeded items are disassembled into parts. Each part has its own chance and quantity, and its condition is the same as the item.
Works
- Up to 5 works at a time, in batches of up to 10.
- Materials are taken from the workbench, from the boxes on its shelf, from tools on the wall, and from the player's backpack.
- Materials and tool wear are deducted when each work is started. Canceling a workbench restores the materials for an unfinished workbench.
- Work continues after a server restart.
- Tracking: Up to 3 recipes with materials are displayed directly on the screen. Show or hide with the apostrophe key; the window can be dragged.
Power and Heating
- The equipment runs on battery power via a power strip: a recipe consumes a charge for each workbench, and a lamp consumes a charge while it is on.
- Each workbench heats the battery; without work, it cools down. The temperature is visible in the workbench window.
- At 60°C, work proceeds more slowly—up to twice as fast at 100°C.
- At 90°C, the battery is unstable: a warning and a beep sound. Restarting in this state results in an explosion: jobs are lost, the battery is destroyed, and some items in the workbench are burned. The explosion does not harm players.
Living Workbench
- Two stacks of vanilla planks and a stack of metal sheets on the side grow as they fill.
- On the wall are a hatchet, hammer, screwdriver, and saw, along with a shelf with tape and boxes of nails. The bottom shelf holds up to three wooden crates.
- A roof on a metal frame, a wooden "WORKBENCH" sign, and a lamp that glows dimly when turned on.
- Custom sounds for operation, readiness, errors, overheating, and explosion, as well as notifications in the style of the Skufy series.
Admin Panel Numpad 1 + Numpad 2
- Recipes: result, quantity, time, charge, book, equipment, materials, and tools. 3D preview of each item and search across all items in the game and mods.
- Calculation: Order time, charge per piece, how many pieces the battery lasts, heating at startup and during operation. Error checking before saving.
- Categories with their own blueprints, rules for repair and disassembly.
- Settings: Time and charge multipliers, number of jobs, batch size, distance, heating and explosion, whether blueprints, books, and equipment are required.
- Grant: a workbench set and each piece of equipment separately.
- All - no restart required: players see the changes the next time they open the workbench.
